Get ready for fun and fellowship at our Community Picnic at Lowery on Friday, April 26th from 5:30-6:30 PM at Lowery. We encourage our Lowery families to come out, and bring neighbors, friends and family to join! We can't wait to see you there. Please bring your own picnic dinner for you and your guests.

We have a lot of programs going on year-round. Read below to learn more, and sign up to help out!

PTO Programs exist to supplement the curriculum at Lowery Elementary.  Each program is in place to add a little extra fun and hands on experience for our students. We cannot make this happen without you, our awesome volunteers!

                                   Volunteers read to students in the classroom as a surprise guest! Reading dates are selected at the beginning of the school year, and volunteers can sign up throughout the year.

Our school gardens allow students to see science in action.  A Volunteer Committee is needed to plan and maintain gardens throughout the year.  Currently seeking a master gardener or teacher to assist. Our district Science Resource Center provides an excellent supplemental curriculum that includes hands-on live animal presentations. Volunteers attend a training session for each presentation at the SRC then schedule and visit the school for presentations to the students in their classrooms.   There are 2 to 3 training opportunities per grade available throughout the year. Presentations can be made throughout the year as trained volunteers are available.  A coordinator will work closely with our Science Instructional Specialist and the Teachers to schedule presentations.
